ORANGE PLANET PICTURES FILM & DOCUMENTARIES

For more than two decades, Orange Planet Pictures has produced independent documentaries exploring some of the most urgent animal welfare and wildlife conservation issues around the world.

Filmed across Europe, Africa and Asia, these documentaries shine a light on subjects that are often hidden from public view — from rhino poaching in South Africa and the dog meat trade in Indonesia, to the exploitation of working donkeys in Egypt’s brick kilns and the realities of elephant tourism in Thailand.

Alongside investigative films, the collection also highlights the extraordinary work of wildlife sanctuaries, rescue organisations and conservationists dedicated to protecting animals and improving their welfare.

Many of these stories feature the work of British actor and animal advocate Peter Egan, who has travelled with Orange Planet Pictures to meet campaigners, veterinarians and sanctuary founders working on the front lines of animal protection.

From the bear sanctuaries of Romania and Vietnam to the bird of prey hospitals and conservation projects of the United Kingdom, these films reveal the people working tirelessly to rescue animals, challenge cruelty and create lasting change.

Each documentary offers a unique insight into the complex relationship between humans and animals — exploring issues such as wildlife crime, animal rescue, conservation science and the ethical challenges surrounding animal welfare.

All Orange Planet Pictures documentaries are produced independently and made available to watch free of charge, helping audiences around the world learn about these issues and the organisations striving to address them.
