For more than two decades, Orange Planet Pictures has produced independent documentaries exploring some of the most urgent animal welfare and wildlife conservation issues around the world.

Filmed across Europe, Africa and Asia, these documentaries shine a light on subjects that are often hidden from public view — from rhino poaching in South Africa and the dog meat trade in Indonesia, to the exploitation of working donkeys in Egypt’s brick kilns and the realities of elephant tourism in Thailand.

Many of these stories feature the work of British actor and animal advocate Peter Egan, who has travelled with Orange Planet Pictures to meet campaigners, veterinarians and sanctuary founders working on the front lines of animal protection.
